We had a great little family day! We went to church and came home, and my mom came over from College Station. I made a ham (my first! and it may or may not have come fully prepped for me, lol.), green bean casserole (Jory's FAVORITE), salad & biscuits, and the kids had a little something in their Easter baskets and an egg hunt for Jax in the backyard.
There really is nothing quite like seeing your children love each other. (That or they're scheming against me.) And this afternoon Jax was playing by Jory, and she touched his face. He said "AW! Jory loves me!"
Brothers are fun.
He's posing like this because in order to get him to keep from putting Jory in a chokehold, Trav said "Jax just sit there with your hands together like you're praying". So he did, lol.
So these were my attempt at cupcakes that looked like dirt and grass and eggs, and I feel like that's not really how they turned out. But they sure are delicious, so whatevs!
Jory's basket! My MIL sent a huge popcorn tin for us to enjoy for Easter so that served as Jory's Easter basket. All practical stuff, and I threw in the sweet pink socks my grandma got her last week that she hasn't worn yet. ;)
Jax loved his basket that my mom brought for him!
(we had just stripped Jory down from her *VERY* messy lunch ;))
Since her first dress got super messy, we had to put on this one. My mom got this the day I found out I was having a girl, and I just love it! It came with some cute white leggings but today was a bit toasty to need them.
