His hair grows really slow I think, and I wasn't a huge fan of how he looked like a five year old last time he got it cut short (the day before I had Jory), so we had just been letting it grow out. I much prefer the shaggy look to the skinhead look.
BUT. It looks cute-shaggy about 30% of the time (mainly right after his bath, it gets super curly like it used to be!) and the other 70%, he looks homeless-shaggy.
So we decided that for his big upcoming party, we would get it cut. He will be dressing up as a pilot, after all, and living with one for more than half of my life has shown me that they are very particular about their hair and like it to look sharp. ;)
See what I mean with the shaggy? He went from giant toddler to cool little dude with one haircut!
(NO, we did not get it cut in a mohawk, we were just goofing it off and styled it that way. Also, it has potential to look much cuter than it does in the post-bath pics below, too, lol.)

I always go back and forth with whether I like hair longer or shorter because they are BOTH such cute styles. He's growing up so fast!
His shaggy hair was so adorable but he looks just as cute now. He is definitely the cutest little boy I've ever seen and he never even had that weird infant fug stage where one eye was wonky and their cheeks look like they might explode (and not in a cute way), you know what I'm talking about. So many baby boys look like that, I could name some right now! LOL anyhoos, LOVE YOU!
