Lately, my family has been beyond amazing in helping out. My mom and sister came last Sunday after my sister's graduation party and stayed til Wednesday. SO helpful to have someone here to watch Jax during the day.
They took Jax to get a haircut:
Before (he NEEDED it)
Jax & Jules in their matching Converse! Mom got Jax a pair just like the ones he had but in a size bigger so he can keep wearing them, yay! I LOVE these shoes & they're so easy to get on with the velcro. :)
Even with a sucker, two trucks, and the iPad, he was still pretty unsure about it!
We staged a few pictures since I wouldn't be making it to the big event:
I had an appointment on Wednesday with the MFM. This was a first week in a while with no cervical change, so I was all celebrating the good news until my doctor came in and told me that the abruption has NOT resolved itself at all, and is now bigger than it's ever been. Since this is life threatening to both of us if it worsens, I am being watched closely and am definitely staying down as much as I possibly can.
Got a peek at my girl:
And my grandparents came in from St. Louis on Thursday for my sister's graduation and stopped by to stay the night here and help out. We had so much fun seeing them and I really appreciated all their help!
This is too cute not to post, Jax loves wearing Papaw and Mamaw's shoes! :)
Cheesin' in front of the new drapes my mom made for the living room!
Mamaw let him pick out his outfit: a guitar pajama shirt with khaki shorts. Stylin!
Not the best pic but I love his smile. Keepin mama company on the couch. :)
Oh and Bella got a makeover last week. We knew she had lost a lot of weight since her diagnosis and treatment but we couldn't tell under that mop of fur. When we got her from the groomer, we couldn't believe how GRAY she was! I guess 4.5 in dog years is about middle aged! Oh and her ears are lookin crazy because it was so windy out. ;)
And then it was the WEEKEND! Obviously, when things are 100x easier for us. Thank goodness for a long one too! Jax is loving his sunglasses lately, but he hasn't quite figured out how to wear them correctly.
I am late with the belly pic, but yay for 27 weeks!
27 weeks is when real preterm labor started in my pregnancy with Jax, as in, when I started dilating. YIKES. I'm telling myself that this time I am being much more closely monitored, I'm on a regimen of progesterone, and I've already spent this entire pregnancy taking it easy and avoiding anything strenuous, so hopefully we have a better shot at 37 weeks this time!
My grandparents are coming back down from St. Louis to stay a few days and help out, we're looking forward to having them and having their help! I have an appointment on Wednesday so here's hoping I get good news!
Jory's room is seriously a couple finishing touches from being FINISHED, so I will hopefully be able to share pics of that in the next few days! :)
