(Another!) EcoMom Review & Giveaway!

Yes, ANOTHER diaper review, but this time with a giveaway, so yay for you readers!!!

Jody over at EcoMom was kind enough to send us the Baby BeeHinds Hemp One Size Fitted Diaper to try on Jax! Remember the review and giveaway I did of their Plum Organics baby food? We LOVED that stuff, so I had high hopes for their cloth diapers! (& was NOT disappointed, y'all! ;)) I had never tried a fitted before, so I was pretty curious to see how it would work!

How it works: This is a fitted diaper, and falls to the left of my diaper diagram, which means that it must be worn with a waterproof cover. However I neglected to explain that to my husband and one weekend morning several weeks ago woke up to this:

LOL! Needless to say, he had stuffed it with enough fluff that it wasn't even close to leaking, thank goodness. :) Sure looks cute on his tush though, yes?

Wondering what those two snaps are in the back? Those hold in one of the hemp inserts that came with the diaper! I LOVE that it has snaps in the front AND the back to hold the two inserts into place, so great!

Because hemp is a natural fiber, and natural fibers don't hold onto ammonia stink like microfiber, we stick to using cotton and hemp in our overnight diapers. Also? I think this fitted just looks so much more comfortable than a prefold & cover! It's super soft, and even when he wore it for 13 hours at night, not even a hint of a leak! YAY! That's a WIN in my book!

I have to say, I was nervous to try fitteds, as they are "new" to me, but I really like this one! And again, since it's a one-size diaper, it will grow with your baby from birth through potty training, saving you $$$ since you're not paying for 2-3 complete stashes of diapers, like you'd have to with sized diapers!
