Okay, those of you who know me are well aware of the fact that I am so not an outdoorsy kind of girl. So I will admit that I was a little hesitant when I first received an email from All Terrain asking if I would like to try one of their products and offer some to my readers. However, if you've been to Texas in May-August, you're aware of just how brutal our summers can be, so we're always in need of products that protect from the elements. And with a little one, I'm more concerned than ever about using products that are natural and gentle, so I decided to give their sun protection line a try.
All Terrain makes natural products for those who enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle, and just in time for summer, they have announced the expansion of their Kid’s Care product line. Environmentally conscious, All Terrain's products have all natural ingredients and their packaging is made from recycled material, recyclable and/or biodegradable.
Thankfully, they sent me some summery products that I could use! Although I would have loved to try out some of their kid's line on Jax, it's somewhat rare these days that I get new products for myself, so I was more than happy to try these out. They sent me the Aloe Gel Skin Relief, TerraSport No-Slip Dry-Grip Sunscreen, and Lip Armor Protection & Healing Balm.
This summer has been fairly busy for us, but I have only really spent a couple long days in the sun lately that I could get a good feel of their products. I have already had two pretty painful sunburns though, and let me tell you, their aloe is just heavenly. It smells so much better than the typical aloe vera gel that I have used, and I thoroughly believe that it kept me from peeling both times! I absolutely loathe peeling (I mean really, who doesn't?) but this made my red hot burn turn into a decent looking tan, sans flakes! Yay!
Please look at my arm in both of these photos (yeah don't ask me why I apparently always forget sunscreen on just my arms & legs, lol.)...I was sooo sure I was going to be a flakey mess in a matter of days, but it never happened! Oh, and let me tell you- my legs? Were 10x worse. Nope, no flakes there either.

I have also replaced my daily facial moisturizer (with SPF 15) with this SPF 15 sunscreen, and they're right, it doesn't leave your face greasy at all! Their Lip Armor now resides in my diaper bag alongside my Burt's Bees lip balm, and although Jax makes faces when I use Burt's on him (probably the strong minty tingle), he doesn't mind this, and it definitely came in handy a few weeks ago when his lips were chapped! The best part is that their ingredients are all-natural, so I have no issues with him using it whenever he needs to! :)
So today, the nice folks at All Terrain would like to give away one product of the winner's choice to one lucky Paro Post reader! Would you like some childrens' bug repellent, that doesn't reek of chemicals like most bug sprays do? Some of their all-natural childrens' Wonder Wash, to clean your tot and leave them smelling like peppermint? Or some Kidswipes, to carry along in your purse or diaper bag and use on your little one for those inevitable messes?
To enter, just simply leave a comment telling me what product you would get with your winnings. Easy peasy, right?? Get your entries in now, I will pick a winner on the evening of Saturday, July 24th! :)

What about the winner for the JJD gift certificate?
awesome give away! I'd love to win the grim soap bar for my hubby. He works in construction and always comes home with stuff on his hands that doesn't' wash off easily.
Oh the kid bug spray!!!! We would LOVE that here!!

I would love to try the bug repellent. I'm allergic to DEET and I don't like using chemicals on E so I think we'd BOTH use it!

The bug spray for sure!! We are going camping in a couple of weeks and this would come in very handy!
Hey Becca! Great blog, I really enjoy reading it.
I would get the bug spray. Isaac loves being outside but there are so many mosquitos right now.
