Today's topic is about memories from your honeymoon!
While my honeymoon wasn't really that long ago [unless you consider 2 years ago "way back"!], I have thought about it a lot lately, as a week ago marked the anniversary of our honeymoon trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico! Cabo is SO beautiful! HUGE thanks to our parents for gifting us with such an amazing trip!
I didn't think I had too many honeymoon "memories" per se, but look through all our pictures, they're all coming back to me and OH MY GOSH do I wish I was in Cabo right now or what?!?! Eating all the food I want & sipping Miami Vices all day..ahhh...so great. :) 2 years ago we were there. Last year, Hawaii for my aunt's wedding. This year? Alabama? haha!
First, let me tell you about how I got these pictures. Our wedding day was absolutely and totally stressful. We finally got in the car at midnight to drive 2 hours to our hotel in Houston by the airport for our early morning flight [um admittedly horrible planning on our part] and I broke down and cried because I was sad that I hadn't "enjoyed" our day at all. Then, we got about half way to Houston [so it was 1:00am] & I realized I FORGOT MY CAMERA. Now, y'all know me. You know how much I am obsessed with taking pictures, right? Yeah, I cried some more.
I guess I could have bought a million disposable cameras and hoped that at least a few pictures came out [what on EARTH did camera people like me do before digital cameras, seriously?!] but thankfully, some locals pointed us towards an Office Depot and we were able to buy a lovely digital camera! Since we only needed it for the few days on our trip, and I had a nice one at home, we gifted my Dad with it for his birthday [but that's a whooooole 'nother post...that I will put up soon enough! :)] Anyway, yeah, so I could take pictures, woohoo!

When we booked our resort, it advertised that it was in Cabo San Lucas, when in actuality, it was in San Jose del Cabo which is just a short ways away from Cabo San Lucas. We weren't around the "party hardy" [which is a GOOD thing to not be around on your honeymoon!] & the hustle and bustle of the shops and touristy stuff, but we did head over there a few times just to check it out!

While we were walking around the arena, a man with a boat asked us if we wanted a ride to the "famous Cabo arch and to Lovers Beach for $20" for both of us! That is an awesome deal, and it was fun! It was a glass bottom boat & we were the only ones on there!

[a Mexican man came up with this {oddly neon-colored & possible spray-painted???} iguana to ask if we wanted to hold it for a picture for $5. LOL waste of money? Yes, but it was fun. :)]
[Ok I used to hate this picture because I thought I was SO fat. Uhh, if only the "old" me could see me now!!! haha!]
[we rode a jet ski while we were there..soooo much fun!]
[our last day there we decided to do NOTHING. We laid on the beach all day long behind our resort, and got $15 hour-long massages on the beach....pretty lovely! & the ones they offered at our resort spa were $100+]
[it took us FOREVER to get home thanks to airplane troubles, but we had to take this pic as we left for my dad, the Continental pilot!]
Ahhhh ok now that I officially want to go back there, share with me YOUR honeymoon memories so I can live vicariously through you & your vacation! :)

Nice photos!! You guys look great! We actually went to Cabo for our Honeymooon too. We stayed a short walking distance from that beautiful mall. I actually have some pictures from there. It's so beautiful out there isn't it? Looks like you guys had a blast!
