Thankful Thursday

Yahoo for another good day! :) And on this Thursday, I am super thankful:

1) For the fact that Jax ate AN ENTIRE ENCHILADA tonight. Granted, it was pureed in the Magic Bullet, but he ate REAL food...the food WE ate! And he had a couple {super thin, don't worry} tortilla chips too! [Big thanks to Alysha for the yummy recipe!]

2) For my {other set} of grandparents coming to visit tomorrow night! Have lots of cleaning to do tonight, but we can't wait to have them since we haven't gotten to spend very much time with them since Christmas!

3) For a nice night with my boys. We ate a non-traumatic [YAY!] dinner as a family, then played on the porch a bit before bathtime & bedtime for Jax. And what the what?! I'm blogging before 9pm?! Unheard of! But wonderful. I worked last night until 3am and I fully intend on calling it quits here in a little bit to go spend time with the hubs & clean.

4) For a baby that sleeps til 8-9 every morning and this morning, until ELEVEN am. We had Bible study last night so he did go to bed a little later than normal, but I was shocked! And happily shocked, due to aforementioned super late bedtime.

5) For steady business. My (extremely lofty) goal for myself is to make enough in the next month to pay our rent. I easily made that much last month, but we took a vacation and spent it. I'd love to keep making such a contribution to our family budget so we can pay down debt & save for buying a house! I've said it before but I seriously LOVE my job. Also? I have some of the best and funnest clients EVER!

There a certain pop singer who Jax is pretty much in love with. Well, with her music anyway. It's jazzy, relaxing and her music can put him to sleep or calm him down whenever we're in the car! I think he likes her so much because I listened to her CD on repeat every single time I was in the car when I was pregnant, it was playing in the room when he was born (even though there's no way THAT was a relaxing experience for him due to his injury), and he has just loved her music ever since, even her new CD, that came out last year, and is slightly more upbeat.
