Two years ago, I married my best friend. I can't imagine a better husband and father, and it sounds corny, but everything is just better when we're together. These last two years have been the most difficult, yet amazing years of my life, and I look forward to growing old together! Ok, I don't look forward to growing old, but if Trav is by my side? It can't be that bad. :)
Our wedding day was just plain stressful. Other than getting my hair done with the girls that morning and seeing all of our wonderful family that came from all over the country to share our special day, I don't think I enjoyed the it much at all. I worried non-stop and noticed [and got hung up on] every little thing that went "wrong" {read: not according to the dreams I had of my wedding since I was 5}. And in the interest of saving $$, LOTS of parts of my wedding were DIY, and some of them just didn't turn out like I had hoped. However, I have to say, it was so gorgeous in the pictures, so I don't know if anyone noticed all the small things, since they couldn't have possibly had the expectations for it that I did. ANYWAY, I have gotten over all that and just remember it as a beautiful day. Because it was.

{commence bawling}

{my colors were probably my favorite part of my wedding!}

{oh, and my hanging flower balls too. me & the girls made these, and then cut off the ribbons and put them on top of sundae glasses so they'd double as reception centerpieces...see pics below}

{centerpieces that were hanging balls in ceremony}

{table numbers...table 3 = me at age 3 and Trav at age 3...and so forth on up to Table 21}

...and just one month later, we found out that this little munchkin would enter our lives. More on that in some other time.
Jax woke up tonight for a few minutes happy as a clam...I love when you can hear him smile behind the paci. ::heartmelt::

:) I just love the photos you took about Jax who is laughing in his cot. Heart melting indeed, so full of cuteness.
I like the idea of the photos on every table from 1 - 21. Stunning idea.
Love this post! Thanks for sharing! What a beautiful wedding it must have been! The pics of your little one, really made me smile! My son is really attached to his paci, so I know that "laugh" well!
