I'm feeling such a mix of emotions...stress of moving, sadness over leaving this place where we made our first home as a couple, where we brought Jax home from the NICU, and the only home he's ever known, and happiness that we will finally have 4 walls to ourselves, that we don't share with noisy, rude neighbors, a yard, a garage, a HOUSE. Oh and the stress of my business taking off (and the blissful wonderfulness of that fact as well!)!
I know it will all be just fine, and somehow, we will manage to get moved in (and out) in time. It's just a lot to take in right now!
My dad and sister are coming with his truck and a trailer (to bring some of our furniture that we were storing at their house because we didn't have room for it) tomorrow afternoon and will meet me at the house after I get the keys. They'll help us make a few trips there and back, and it will be nice to see my sister....it's been a while! She's a junior in high school and has colleges all over the country looking to recruit her 6'2" drop-dead-gorgeous self to play volleyball for them, so it's rare that she has time for her boring big sister these days. ;)
My parents will be going out of town this weekend for Julie's volleyball so my brother will come over and help, and Aaron and Cassie have offered to help too! SO nice of them since it would take much longer without Aaron to help with lifting & Cassie to keep Jax for me!
Anyway, onto pictures! Here's Jax at lunch today looking studly in his absolutely adorable bib sent to us from Bazzle Baby to try! I will be doing a product review on it in the next few days once things calm down, but we really like it thus far! :) (yes his space saver high chair is on the ground...we're moving, don't judge me. :))
This is Jax's latest "cheese" face (if you're a regular 'round these parts, you may recall something similar..."old man face" ring a bell? turns out, he was just making that face because the sun was in his eyes, but now he does it if the sun is in his eyes AND if he's just being a goofball. :))
(Above picture was taken exactly 2 minutes before he vomited his entire lunch all over his bib, the tray, and me. And I was just feeding him purees. No "real" food of any kind. Ugh.)
I love his nom-able thighs in these next few...he's managed to keep them even though he's walking!
Tomorrow will be nothing shy of crazy for our family, but I promise to post somehow! :) Goodnight!
